Pigeon Poop Angers Homeowners in Berlin, Maryland

Pigeons are not welcome in Berlin, Maryland

My house is currently undergoing construction and I have pigeons building nests in my air-conditioning vent and also in the attic. There are pigeon droppings scattered throughout the house. I'm looking for service of removing the pigeons and cleaning after them. Nancy Q.

Pigeon problem- about 12-15 birds have taken over my front outside entry way and a corner gable in the front of the house. They roost, nest and make a big mess on my front door. I have used bird spikes-didn't work, the pigeons actually tore it out. I have even resorted to a canine electric fence around the area, double wired to provide a ground because pigeons are naturally ungrounded. Nothing seems to work, I have even built cages made of lathing wire and put up there, the pigeons tore one of the cages apart! I really need to get rid of them. Dave Y.

We have many pigeons on our roof and believe they have nested under our overhangs and gutters. There is a lot of pigeon dropping on our balcony, side of our house, and drive way. Danny B.

We solve many types of wildlife control conflicts in Berlin and surrounding areas. Give us a call if you need expert animal removal and/or live wildlife trapping. We can also perform an inspection of your property to evaluate the problem.

Many of the projects we solve involve raccoon families in attics and chimneys, mud swallow nests on stucco, woodpeckers drilling siding, voles and gophers destroying lawns, rats or squirrels thumping and bumping around inside walls and in attics, bat infestations, skunks stealing pet food and snakes living in crawlspaces and stone walls.

Along with physical damage and disease, wild animals also bring along disturbance and nuisance with all their noise and commotion and smell. Baby raccoons chirp and chitter like little birds; raccoons and rats will fight all night and keep people awake; skunk smell takes the cake, but have you ever smelled a dead animal in your ventilation system? We have seen much, much more than these problems, but that is a general idea of the kinds of problems that my professional wildlife removal operators and I are prepared to solve.

Not only do my technicians and I trap and remove problem wild animals, we do a lot of other dirty work, too. Don't hesitate to call us for dead animal removal, pigeon waste cleanup, bat guano removal, mouse droppings, decontamination, repairs, above ground and below ground rodent slick fencing, odor control for skunk spray, and the like. We are a full service pest control company with a wide range of animal control solutions.

I have been in the professional wildlife control business for many years. My favorite stories and experiences are removing bats from schools and churches.

For pigeon and bird control, bat removal, or relief from other pest animals, call our wildlife management experts. Many nuisance wildlife companies offer critter capture and control; our wildlife operators provide professional pest wild animal management. We remove the following AND MORE:

  • Bats from attics, eaves and belfries

Berlin, Maryland has Mice Problems

Homeowners in Berlin, Maryland are tired of mice problems

Mouse problem. I hear mice in the attic not sure how many but sounds like one or 2 based on the sounds. I have noticed a burrow under my fireplace on the exterior and a hole that has not been caulked and there are dropping around the hole. I can't say how long this has been going on but have just recently noticed the sounds in the attic. Tony B.

I have mice that are in the walls and possibly emerging around the house. The main concern is downstairs. There are several ways for them to get in. Was wondering that when you guys do the inspections do you cover up these holes for me? I have a vent that is right above my bed and a indecent odor that comes out from it. Catherine S.

Mice! After making the initial discovery last year, I have been using snap traps (I could care less about being ʺhumaneʺ - sorry) and have killed some 48 mice in my basement over the course of the last 13 months! (summer I had none) Thankfully the problem seems to be confined to the basement. A very few of them where little grey house mice; the majority of them are field or white footed mice. When they returned this Fall, I realized it was time for an exterminator. He has been here twice, and has placed bait stations and snap traps. After receiving the go ahead from the exterminator, we gutted the entire basement; removed all of the ceiling, walls and fiberglass insulation (which had been not only behind the walls, but between the joists above the drop ceiling as well) It was not a pretty sight. I continue to keep traps set, I am still trapping the little *&%$#!@. To complicate matters, I live in a two-story townhouse condo, end unit, one of four units in the building. On his second visit, the exterminator treated the entire building. (placed bait stations and traps in each unit's basement) The building maintenance staff are either unable or unwilling to inspect for access points. I sealed up the more obvious places with steel wool and caulking myself last year - around the sill cock, dryer vent. I believe the mice are still gaining access from the outside and I won't rest until I know the outside of the building has been checked out thoroughly around the foundation, under the back deck, etc. So I guess I'm looking for someone to do a complete inspection and blocking. I have done extensive research on-line on the subject. I understand that a mouse can squeeze through a tiny crevice and that it is very difficult to say where they may be coming from. But I'm not getting any answers or solutions and I'm at my wit's end!! Jennifer G.
