Animal Problems in Waterford, Michigan

Residents of Waterford, Michigan are having all kinds of animal problems and are having troubles solving the issues themselves.

I believe I have squirrels in my attic. I found one dead about a year ago and now there is a lot of rustling and scratching. I’m not able to see where they are entering/exiting. I have tried setting a couple of rat traps but nothing yet. There are lots of scurrying sounds in the evening 8-9pm and in the morning ~ 7am - then periodically throughout the day. It sounds like they nest lower in the walls as that is where the sound originates in the early morning. I have never seen them outside the house and I am unsure of what to do next.         -Kevin D

There are at least two large birds (possibly woodpeckers) nesting in my attic. I have set a trap with bird seed inside to lure them but in the two days that it has been out they have not touched the seed. The trap is meant to just trap, not kill the birds. I\\\'m not certain where they are coming in at, but there are woodpeckers that have pecked a hole in the side of my house... that is the only entrance point I know of. What can I do??       -Pam G

There are 2 raccoons living in my garage, they have knocked down items on shelves and have started to store piles. The paw prints on my car prove that they are raccoons.  The three \\\"holes\\\" that we could find have been blocked, but more holes have been showing up elsewhere in the siding.  We don’t know what else to do.  Help!         -Ilene J

We solve many types of wildlife control conflicts in Waterford and surrounding areas. Give us a call if you need expert animal removal and/or live wildlife trapping. We can also perform an inspection of your property to evaluate the problem.

Many of the projects we solve involve raccoon families in attics and chimneys, mud swallow nests on stucco, woodpeckers drilling siding, voles and gophers destroying lawns, rats or squirrels thumping and bumping around inside walls and in attics, bat infestations, skunks stealing pet food and snakes living in crawlspaces and stone walls.

Along with physical damage and disease, wild animals also bring along disturbance and nuisance with all their noise and commotion and smell. Baby raccoons chirp and chitter like little birds; raccoons and rats will fight all night and keep people awake; skunk smell takes the cake, but have you ever smelled a dead animal in your ventilation system? We have seen much, much more than these problems, but that is a general idea of the kinds of problems that my professional wildlife removal operators and I are prepared to solve.

Not only do my technicians and I trap and remove problem wild animals, we do a lot of other dirty work, too. Don't hesitate to call us for dead animal removal, pigeon waste cleanup, bat guano removal, mouse droppings, decontamination, repairs, above ground and below ground rodent slick fencing, odor control for skunk spray, and the like. We are a full service pest control company with a wide range of animal control solutions.

I have been in the professional wildlife control business for many years. My favorite stories and experiences are removing bats from schools and churches.

Bothersome Birds in Waterford, Michigan

The residents of Waterford, Michigan have had it up to here with the birds in the neighborhood.

We recently moved into a house that had a problem with swallow nests. Since they were empty we knocked down the nests and sprayed deer pee but they came right back and are rebuilding the nest. After reading about them online, I am very concerned that this will only get worse. Please help!       -Erika L

I have tons of pigeons on my roof that have been growing in numbers for the past year. I am needing to have them trapped, removed, and the area cleaned up. I had someone put some net up around solar panels I have on my roof, but it has done nothing to deter them---I still have pesky pigeons and all of their poop!      -Caitlyn E

An unidentified bird has started nesting in our ceiling, near front corner of second floor front room. We can see nesting materials at the ceiling line. They have been making a fair amount of routine bird call noises. They seemed to react to the recorded owl noises we have gotten off the Internet, but they don’t appear to be inclined to leave.           -Jason Y
