We think we have squirrels in the crawl space between our ceiling and roof. We had them before several years ago but had work done --addition, reroofing, and things seemed sealed up tight. Trappe, Maryland Smells a Skunk

Trappe, Maryland has a serious and ongoing skunk problem

My neighbor reported to me that there is a family of skunks that are living under my garage. It appears to be a female and four kits. We have noticed that something seemed to be attracting the attention of our dog within our garden fence. Kenneth L.

There are two skunks that hang around our house, poop on the front porch, and are causing a problem. Can you help? Truman L.

The crawl space covers under my home have been torn and I have personally seen skunks trying to pry open small vent covers. The first incidence of crawl space damage was in February. I have blocked all access to under the house and have had a pest control person put a trap under the house for 2 weeks a few months ago. No luck. I assumed there were no skunks. In the last week to 10 ten days, I have smelled strong skunk odor around the house at night on at least 3 days, but have heard or seen no incidence of them trying to get in or out. I know they are all around our neighborhood. There is no odor otherwise, nothing lingering. Could the skunks be under the house? Tom F.
