Wildlife Troubles in Parowan, Utah

Several residents in Parowan, Utah have being having unpleasant run-ins with the local wildlife.

I let my dog outside the other night and he had a run in with a porcupine. This is my 5th year living here and I haven\'t had any issues with wildlife until now. I just don\'t want them living on my property. My yard is fenced 3/4 around with black fence and the other side is just fence with wood poles and wire fence that farmers use. There’s a row of miscellaneous pine trees along part of that fence. The road and driveway are not fenced but lined with bushes and trees. My house sits in the middle of mowed field of about 20 acres, and way back is a wooded area. Should I worry about them making a home around my house or do you think it\'s a one-time deal? How much do you charge to trap?

My dog was sprayed by a skunk 2 nights ago along the side of our house. We live in a subdivision but back up to woods which is where I think it came from. At around 4:45 am this morning, the dogs needed to go out so I let them out front where the street lights are (I’m nervous about the back yard now) and I saw my dog staring around the side of the house. I brought them in and grabbed a flashlight. Sure enough, there was a skunk in about the same place as he was 2 nights ago. He appeared to be digging along the wall of our foundation. It\'s a new build and I\'m not worried about him getting in but I do want him gone. Nervous he\'s trying to find a place to nest. Can you trap and relocate him?

We solve many types of wildlife control conflicts in Parowan and surrounding areas. Give us a call if you need expert animal removal and/or live wildlife trapping. We can also perform an inspection of your property to evaluate the problem.

Many of the projects we solve involve raccoon families in attics and chimneys, mud swallow nests on stucco, woodpeckers drilling siding, voles and gophers destroying lawns, rats or squirrels thumping and bumping around inside walls and in attics, bat infestations, skunks stealing pet food and snakes living in crawlspaces and stone walls.

Along with physical damage and disease, wild animals also bring along disturbance and nuisance with all their noise and commotion and smell. Baby raccoons chirp and chitter like little birds; raccoons and rats will fight all night and keep people awake; skunk smell takes the cake, but have you ever smelled a dead animal in your ventilation system? We have seen much, much more than these problems, but that is a general idea of the kinds of problems that my professional wildlife removal operators and I are prepared to solve.

Not only do my technicians and I trap and remove problem wild animals, we do a lot of other dirty work, too. Don't hesitate to call us for dead animal removal, pigeon waste cleanup, bat guano removal, mouse droppings, decontamination, repairs, above ground and below ground rodent slick fencing, odor control for skunk spray, and the like. We are a full service pest control company with a wide range of animal control solutions.

I have been in the professional wildlife control business for many years. My favorite stories and experiences are removing bats from schools and churches.

For pigeon and bird control, bat removal, or relief from other pest animals, call our wildlife management experts. Many nuisance wildlife companies offer critter capture and control; our wildlife operators provide professional pest wild animal management. We remove the following AND MORE:

Animal Problems in Parowan, Utah

The wildlife in Parowan, Utah has been stirring up trouble with the locals.  Want the scoop on what’s been happening? Check out the stories below.

I have a woodpecker that has drilled about 15 holes into my wood shingles over the past two months. I\'ve put up aluminum foil to scare him away and I’ve tried to patch some of the holes but he keeps coming back. I need help with some type of spray or some kind of deterrent to keep him away. He’s doing a lot of damage to my house and it will be expensive to fix.  I don’t want to start permanent repairs until he is gone, I don’t want him to continue to destroy my house.

Both my flower and plant gardens are being eaten down to the ground by what I\'ve been told are voles. There are also gophers digging holes throughout my front and back yards. The yard has been sprayed twice, by a professional company, with a product that is supposed to kill both animals, but it has not worked either time. Is there a real solution to getting rid of these destructive animals? Thanks you for any advice you can give me.

We just bought a house almost 2 weeks ago and I’ve heard something in the attic and there is a horrible smell in the vent system on the house. First I thought maybe it was in the dryer vent, but my husband completely removed the existing dryer vent and nothing other than lint was in the vent line. We have not seen any animal but I have heard noises up in the attic. My husband has a history of histoplasmosis with a year-long treatment to get rid of it, so I don\'t want him in the attic rooting around looking for wildlife living up there. I would rate this mild to moderate as a problem. I believe that it’s mice. We haven\'t tried to deal with it ourselves because of the history of illness my husband has experienced.
