I think we have a raccoon problem in our attic because an animal climbed up onto our 2 story roof via porch support pillars and tore apart out roof vent. Bird Problems in Clearfield, Utah

There is a pigeon sitting on an egg in her nest waiting for the egg to hatch on the roof of our home. We do not want to harm the baby egg, but we are concerned about what to do after it hatches.  We definitely do not want the pigeons to return and cause any more problems. I have been advised to just leave them alone, not feed them, and wait until the baby is hatched and ready to leave the nest and before I do something so they do not return in the future.  Can you help?

 

I have acorn woodpeckers that are pecking holes in the asphalt shingles on my roof and into the cedar siding of my home.
