Livingston County, Michigan has Bat Problems
Here are examples of bat problems encountered by Livingston County, Michigan residents:
Noticed bat guano in the attic. Not much--located on top of a layer of insulation. I am interested in cleaning and relocation. Jennifer F.
I have a colony of bats living in my attic, approximately 20 to be exact. I imagine some people might think that was an interesting story, but all I want is to live happily ever after, without bats! Kevin M.
I live in a duplex and I have a bat infestation. The attic ceiling is sagging in two areas around the attic window from bat gauno and it\\\\\\\'s on the floor. You can hear them in the walls scratching around. We had three get in the house last summer, I\\\\\\\'m assuming they got in through the basement b/c we have a hole in the basement door for the cats to use their litter boxes. Our neighbors that are attached also hear them scratching in the walls on their side and they have had numerous bats get in the house. We had a local guy come out and he said the whole house is definitely infested with a colony of bats. Please HELP! This is a huge problem that needs taken care of because of health issues and I HATE bats. Becky J.
For the past year I’ve been dealing with a bat problem, but recently I realized how out of control it is. I think that they’re getting in from the attic or maybe the fireplace. They’ve started pooping in my attic and flying around a lot at night. I’m afraid to go up and see exactly what’s happening but I did trap one in a box just the other night and released it near my work. How can I get rid of the other bats without anyone getting hurt?
-James B.
We were playing spoons outside with our kids when suddenly bats started to dive bomb us! I didn\\\'t know we had bats around our home or even if poosible they\\\'re in our home. They didn\\\'t seem afraid of us when we were swatting at them outside which concerns me. I really need an inspection and to move forward from there. I want these bats gone!

Questions about Gophers
Our dog found and killed a rat in one of our food cabinets and another one in the furnace closet. The rats chewed a pipe under the house to our bath/shower. I can hear them in the attic and I believe in the walls. I’ve set traps on the back deck and killed one with an electric box and the snap traps I’ve set out for the last two nights have caught and killed two each night so far.

I can hear rats running amuck in my house at night. I think they got in through my attic, but it could be from the basement or garage also. They’ve started chewing at the cords and tubing for my washing machine. I tried setting out traps with peanut butter, but with no luck. I’m worried about the damage they could cause!
