Stray dog tests positive for rabies in Tomball, Harris County, Texas

 

A resident in the Tomball area found a stray 1 year old Labrador retriever mix and brought it to the Bureau of Animal Regulation and Control in Harris County.  Unfortunately, the dog had rabies, likely contracted from a wild animal, and has since had to be euthanized.
