Bird Problems in Plymouth, Michigan

The birds in Plymouth, Michigan are out and actively pestering the residents.

We have a Stucco house in a rural area and woodpeckers are making holes, they either nest or leave and other birds nest inside of the holes! We spent a couple thousand dollars fixing 2 years ago, but they came back and did it again. They seem to drill up high and near the edges or corners of the house. We are in dire need of help!!            -Morgan C

We recently purchased a home and there are pigeons nesting on our metal roof. I estimate that there are around twelve to fifteen of them nesting. My son and I are both allergic to birds and the feathers as well. My son cannot go outside because there are a lot of droppings as well as feathers.  We need to have it cleaned up before it becomes a bigger health concern.     -Patsy K

Several years ago I had over 40 holes in my cedar siding filled and my house repainted at a significant cost. I just returned from a 3 week vacation and see new holes and a huge hole/nest with woodpeckers living in it on the side of my house. I had streamers put up on the house to deter the woodpeckers but they have been ineffective. I need the birds removed from my house and a permanent deterrent installed. Can you help?                -John S

We solve many types of wildlife control conflicts in Plymouth and surrounding areas. Give us a call if you need expert animal removal and/or live wildlife trapping. We can also perform an inspection of your property to evaluate the problem.

Many of the projects we solve involve raccoon families in attics and chimneys, mud swallow nests on stucco, woodpeckers drilling siding, voles and gophers destroying lawns, rats or squirrels thumping and bumping around inside walls and in attics, bat infestations, skunks stealing pet food and snakes living in crawlspaces and stone walls.

Along with physical damage and disease, wild animals also bring along disturbance and nuisance with all their noise and commotion and smell. Baby raccoons chirp and chitter like little birds; raccoons and rats will fight all night and keep people awake; skunk smell takes the cake, but have you ever smelled a dead animal in your ventilation system? We have seen much, much more than these problems, but that is a general idea of the kinds of problems that my professional wildlife removal operators and I are prepared to solve.

Not only do my technicians and I trap and remove problem wild animals, we do a lot of other dirty work, too. Don't hesitate to call us for dead animal removal, pigeon waste cleanup, bat guano removal, mouse droppings, decontamination, repairs, above ground and below ground rodent slick fencing, odor control for skunk spray, and the like. We are a full service pest control company with a wide range of animal control solutions.

I have been in the professional wildlife control business for many years. My favorite stories and experiences are removing bats from schools and churches.

For pigeon and bird control, bat removal, or relief from other pest animals, call our wildlife management experts. Many nuisance wildlife companies offer critter capture and control; our wildlife operators provide professional pest wild animal management. We remove the following AND MORE:

  • Bats from attics, eaves and belfries

Raccoons in Plymouth, Michigan

The raccoons in Plymouth, Michigan are taking advantage of the open chimneys of residents and using them to access homes.

My mother\'s neighbor told me today that he has seen raccoons climbing up the tree jumping onto the porch then climbing up the roof and then down into the chimney of my mom’s house. Mom is 81 years old and is hard of hearing so no noise has been heard that we know of. I didn\'t smell anything at the bottom of the fireplace nor did I see anything but I am worried that a raccoon could be in there.            -Randall J

The chimney sweep told us today that there were raccoon droppings on the roof and tonight I heard scratching and climbing up the side of the house and then into an eve and across the ceiling. I\'m guessing raccoons. We also saw birds near the same eve in the spring and heard chirping but I just read that might have been baby raccoons? We\'d like to have someone come out to remove the animals.        -Mandy M

My tenant has been calling repeatedly lately with reports of a family of raccoons, 5 or more, that have been coming into house and eating in her kitchen for the last week or two.  Since there is no doggy door, no holes entering the basement, or open attic space (that I know of) I believe that they are getting in through the chimney.  They and I both would like to have this problem resolved as soon as possible.      -Tyrel S
