There's a squirrel that has moved into our attic (one-story house). The attic has a very low roof and no real floor except the west end of the house. Naturally the squirrel found its way in at the east end. There was a hole in the soffit I hadn't realized was there until recently. Over the past year, a serious gopher problem has arisen. There is some evidence of infestation in the front yard, but even more in the side yard, and the back yard is so riddled with their holes that what was once a flat, beautiful lawn is now very bumpy and uneven. Guests frequently stumble when crossing the yard. We are very concerned about the situation, as we are planning to do some major renovations on the home in the near future, and eventually put it on the market. Carol D.
